Parents as Partners
Since parents know their children best, they are indispensable partners in determining the course of their child’s education. Their voice should be represented whenever their children’s best interest is discussed, so that families can be an integral part of the solution.
Academic Excellence
Our schools exist to provide a quality education to our children. While there are many important topics that compete for the focus of educators, our primary objective needs to be equipping our children to succeed in academic subjects.
Health & Safety
Students need a school environment that prioritizes their safety and health. Children cannot learn if their fundamental needs for security and wellness are not met. Schools can partner with families to ensure that the needs of students are identified and addressed.
Respect & Civility
The classroom should be a place where differing perspectives are heard and respected. While there might not always be agreement, there must be a commitment to civility, and mutual respect should be modeled for and expected of our students.
College Readiness
Learning is a lifelong process. Therefore, students need to be resourced and equipped by providing personalized academic advising and teaching essential study skills.
